Pentor Recreation Acquires Rollings Hills (Formerly Recreationland)

Pentor Recreation is pleased to announce the acquisition of Rolling Hills RV Park and Campground (formerly Recreationland). The park is located just outside of Ottawa, Ontario on 39 acres. Pentor is planning on investing in infrastructure and people to ensure guests receive a great experience when staying at Rolling Hills. 

 

The campground is being converted into Ottawa's first adults only RV park. Amenities and activities will be tailored for adults. No need to worry about kids doing cannonballs as you sit next to the pool or that playground you'll never use. Currently there are 74 sites with 30-amp power plus water and sewer, 14 sites with 15-amp + water and 11 basic tent sites. RV sites are a mix of back-in and pull-thru. 

 

Located in the village of Cumberland within the city of Ottawa Rolling Hills is just 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa, making it the 5th closest RV park to Ottawa. Walmart, Tim Horton's, Canadian Tire, McDonalds, Shoppers Drug Mart, Food Basics, the LCBO and many more are located just minutes from the park.

 

In year one Pentor plans to remodel the washrooms/showers, improve the electrical system, level sites, provide a well stocked store and add a pool heater. Over time Pentor hopes to invest each year to make the park an even more compelling destination. Even more important will be the employees of Rolling Hills.
